September Is A Month For Fractals

We often wonder if it was the interesting times in college or just the childlike curiosity of snails and chambered nautilus that made us fall in love with fractals.  Christian tends to remember more times in Spartanburg, SC with a group of hippies, and I have my fond memories of being in Art School at Cal Arts.  Regardless of the background, fractals have constantly intrigued both of us.  Their ability to be represented in nature, mathematically generated, and make a tripping person drool with envy are a constant source of appreciation.

Here is a collection of free fractals from around the interwebs.  We’ll be adding links to their original authors as well, but have to leave the station at this moment.
