Free Directories
On a regular basis, I will be updating this page with the most recent 
free directories that I’ve found on the net. I do not believe reciprocal or purchased links do much good with the new format for the Google Algorithm. As a result, I will only be listing directories that are free and have at least a Page Rank of 3. Should you choose to purchase, that would be your choice, but here in Naperville and Chicago, our SEO and Internet Marketing has been conducted in a completely free manner, yet we are quickly overtaking the web design and SEO searches for the area. It is good to consider, why pay for something you can get for free?

It can be assumed that this and many other factors played their parts. It’s hard to say what they did to offend the bot, but it’s well accepted now that the paid for links and the “pay per clicks” are going to be hurting more than helping in the future. Non of the search engines are that happy with others making money at their expense.

Is this the list you use to submit all of your clients? PM me if you want to trade some reciprocal links as well (same clients – diff country, could work out quite well) – I will use this list to add some of my clients as well. Thanks for sharing.
One of several sets. We have a collection of about 2,000 directories that don’t require payment or reciprocal links.(they’re now bogus in Googles eyes anyway. Here’s another good list as well.
